A Watchman in the Night

First off, thank you for taking the time to visit my website. My purpose for creating it is three-fold: 1) to share my belief in a God who loves you and me very much, 2) to share about the forgiveness that is ours if we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and 3), to warn anyone who will listen that time is short, and we must get right with God now.

In the Bible, in the book of Ezekiel, Chapter 33, it talks about there being an appointed watchman who is responsible to sound a warning if he sees danger approaching. The penalty for not sounding the alarm was being held responsible for all of the lives that could have been saved had he been obedient in his role.  It goes on to say that if the watchman sounds the alarm and the people do not heed its warning, then they, the people, are responsible for their own death, and the watchman is not held accountable.

Ezekiel 33:9 “But if you make clear to the evil-doer the danger of his way for the purpose of turning him from it, and he is not turned from his way, death will overtake him in his evil-doing, but your life will be safe.” 

I have to admit that many times in my past, I’ve been the evil doer mentioned in the scripture above, and was headed toward great danger, due to not heeding God’s warnings or at times, not even knowing there was a warning. I was not on a path of obedience, but instead, headed toward destruction. Because of God’s great love for me and His merciful forgiveness, I was able to turn from my evil ways and find the hope and peace that could only come once I surrendered my life and will over to my Savior, Jesus Christ.

For many years I’ve been walking on the path of transformation, and along the way I’ve received insight into my own brokenness, as well as warning messages through the gift of dreams, that I’d like to share in my opening message (me sounding the alarm as a watchman).

I pray that the Holy Spirit will open your eyes and ears so that you may see and hear, and may He open your heart to openly receive the messages I have to share, as His watchman in the night, both about the impending dangers to come, as well as the messages of the dangers I failed to heed while doing life my own way.
